Ford atf in the case

A buddy of mine that builds 250r sand drag bikes told me to dump the oil out ouf my Tecate and my R and replace it with ford atf FA I guess ford had problems with clutch slippage and this stuff is suppose to help a bunch. and works great in his bike. Anybody out there that can confirm that, I'm assuming he knows what he is talking about. but I'd like some feedback.

I know many that swear by it. I have used it myself, and it works fine. Make sure you flush your cases before you use it, however.

ATF in a manual gearbox is an old drag racers trick! It makes the old smash-boxes work much better...
