i got a couple question on my 1985 honda atc 125m that im restoring, one is that i just painted the rear fender on it and repaired the cracks in it and the paints chipping and peeling realllly easly, im no pro but i dont know whether i should just get a new fender for 150 bucks or just put a coat of clear coat on it go here to check out the trike http://www.youtube.com/user/my85honda?feature=mhee. my other question i where i should get a lid for the toolbox on the back ive checked ebay and some other places like bikebandit but i havent found it if you know where i could find one please tell me check out the trike restoration vids here http://www.youtube.com/user/my85honda?feature=mhee :TrikesOwn

Did you use a plastic paint? They will chemically bond to the plastic better than regular rattle cans. As far as getting a new set, depends on what you're going for. If you plan on riding it alot, then I'd say leave what you have on it.BUT, no matter what type of paint you use, you'll still get chips and peeling the more you ride it. As far as the toolbox...just keep searching, Honda doesn't make it anymore, but someone out there (probably on this forum) has a real nice or NOS one.
