So just HOW do we comply with an 8" by 12" triangular flag?

Maybe I slept thru h.s. geometry
but the picture is a triangle
and the specs are for a rectangle?
Girlfriends idea to post the joke.
(she works for the state and knows how much $$ they waste doing stooopid stuff)
Amazing that the nitpicking lawmakers all missed it and you know there was a committee or 2 that needed to approve it.
Our first trip to the dunes, we cut some hazelnut branches,
real nice straight poles from the orchard and duct taped some gas station pink rags
to the top.
Hey, rules is rules, right?

man o man, there were a couple 250 'r's at the dunes yesterday beating psychoquads
consistently on the hill climb.
Nice looking ride you have there.

they make flags in both rectangle and triangle. I am sure no one will enforce "rectangle flags only - no triangles". Keep in mind, the people who make and write the rules, no nothing about our sport.
That picture is my brother "Keister" here on the boards. That is his bone stock 1985.

I hear ya Drjoe171- there are a few laws for the Oregon Dunes that are written as such for the purpose of having any reason to pull you over they feel. I have never been treated with such disrespect by law enforcement (I'm probably exaggerating) as I was the day I was harrassed by a BLM "officer" at the Dunes two years ago. Maybe she was mad about having a sweet moustache......... On a side note- we have it way better than other Nazi states around this country.

The correct way to measure a triangle, the height in the diagram would be the length and the base would be the width.
Personally I've never been hassled about my flags and their size. But I suppose if the LEOs wanted to be snotty they would be asking for the registration papers, rather than flags.
Just a thought
