350x seat ?

finally getting around to putting on the new black maier fender on my 86 x .got the back bracket off where the release goes but when i tried to take the nuts off the front bracket all the bolts turn and the nuts wont come off.whats my next best step from here.how are those bolts held in ?

You have to cut them off, then remove the seat cover and foam to put new brackets in then reinstall the cover and foam.

Had to wrestle that one myself..all but one nut came off and that one just spun.

I sprayed the thread with lots of WD, wedged a flat screw driver between the plate and plastic and used my impact on the nut hoping the rpms would spin the nut off before the bolt spun.

Got luck I guess, it worked.

what brackets do i need ?.

well drilled out the nuts and took the seat cover off.good thing i need a new one and saw where the plates i guess that have the bolts were just rusted and gone.can you get just the brackets and bolts that go on the seat pan ?
