This story starts out one rainy day a few months ago. I sold my mint 1982 110 along with another machine to buy an 87 Big Red. Although my BR is awesome, I really missed my little 110. I used my 110 for taking my dog for a run, going to get the mail, putzing down deer trails, and a myriad of other things that the Big Red is just too bulky for. I really regretted selling my 82, and decided I had to have another one.
I had a 1984 110 that I had used for parts sitting behind the barn. I bought it for a song because the motor was locked up, but cosmetically it was in pretty good condition. I decided that I would revive it and try to keep my overall build cost beneath $110.
When I starting looking for the cause of the frozen motor, I pulled the flywheel and...wow. A catch dog from the recoil had slipped behind the flywheel and ripped the stator off the wall, causing the frozen motor. The carnage... I also needed a handful of other parts (cables/brakes/carb etc...) and decided I was going to need another parts machine. I was lucky enough to pick up a running 1983 110 from Thorpe here on 3WW for cheap, but it was ugly as sin! I named it "pink floyd" for obvious reasons...
After swapping parts back and forth between the two, I have a pretty solid 110 that starts on the 1st pull and doesn't look too bad.

It has come a long way since these pictures were taken, and more photos will be uploaded later on. I thought I would post these up first though. Let me know what you think, and feel free to post the reasons why you love 110's too!
