Ok so I guess Im the last one to figure this out, but a 10 inch wide tire (20x10x10 Fast trekkers) wont fit on a 10inch wide wheel. I purchased a set of ITP Pro Aluminum 10"x10" wheels to go with them. Had them powdercoated gloss black.

my gf took the wheels up to a special mounting place that called No-Mar (no mark special tire mounting) that specifically wont scratch your wheels. They call me after getting the tires on and say that their 100psi persecond air system cant get them to seat, that I need wider tires. IS THIS TRUE!?!?!?/ over 400$ invested in tires/wheels/powdercoating/shipping and nothing fits together. WTF AM I DOING comon sense would say a 10" wheel will fit a 10" tire right lol I need a drink and a big hammer to break things with right now

Sorry to hear, but as a general rule you go 1-2 inches narrower on the wheel vs tire width. It should still mount though. Maybe try another shop.

they offered to leave the tires on the wheels but they said they didnt think they would seal up. They claim to have a superior air system and that if they cant that any other place would have the same issues. this blows

Yeah, 10 inches is the tread, not the bead. Bead is probably 9 inch. Sorry bro =( I know i would be pissed off!

I recently discovered that I can set 5 tires with the exact same numbers on them
all lined up side by side and they are ALL different.

I guess they are 'suggested' sizes.

I made a special trip to get a tire that matches one of mine, same exact numbers
and the trike looks like it has a broken leg.
Different width AND height.

I'm gonna quit trying to do things right.

The tubes idea sounds interesting

Yeah man. Have to have a narrower wheel. I tried to put 10 inch paddles on 10 inch rims. No go. They went on but the lip of the rim stuck out past the tire sidewall. It looked bad and the lip was just sticking right out ready to be dented. I instead put then on 8 inch wide rims and they r perfect.

Dr Joe, are you using used tires? Because I believe they will actually change shape and size a little depending on how they are inflated etc

always the old ether and a match trick. works but a bit dangerous.don't really recommend it. on stubborn tires I usually put a ratchet strap around it to get the bead started on both sides before giving air. but the wheels will probably stick out past the tires like someone mentioned
