need a bit of help, i found a wiring guide for my model but im looking for
a repair manual. i'v got spark but i dont think the engine is getting gas. that or my timings are all goofed up with it. the engine also has great compression. but i opened the carb. and it looked to be like clay in the inside? anyhow the screen was undamaged thus none of this got into my engine i hope :(
i cleaned out the carb but she still wont fire up. please does anyone have any idea what could be my issue
thank you for taking your time reading this.

regards
Ryan Gantzer .

if you have spark ,then it s not getting gas ,clean the jets then blow through them or poke a real small wire first , try starting fluid if it still dont fire then thers more wrong ,then the carb , but if it fires on ether its the fuel supply check the tank , is it clean , the lines clean , filter ,petcock on the carb if you clean everything and check twice it should run:cool::D

Carbs are finicky, might have missed something. One jet that gets overlooked a lot is the pilot jet. I'm not saying it's not your timing, but more than likely it is fuel. Good luck.

Had A Simular Problem With My 90. The Original Carb Was So Plugged Up From Sitting. I Tried Cleaning It And Blowing Out All Jets And Passages To No Luck But A Sputter. Ended Up Getting A Universal Carb On Ebay For Under 30 Bucks. DRATV I Think Was The Seller. Now My 90 Runs Great. Do Be Sure That All The Gas Lines Run Free With Clean Gas And The Tank Is Clean. Good Luck.

i figured id get to that when the time comes. btw still no luck . if somone could maybe send me a link for a Universal Carb that would be great . im new

Looky all you Minnesooooota guys up dere, eh? I've been in Iowa for almost 19 years now, but I'll always be a Minnesotan at heart. The riding up north is fantastic. Thorpe, have you ridden any of the state trails up by Bemiji?

Ok, I hijacked cloudscrash's thread. Someone might have connected the wires together for the ignition to work, but otherwise the trike will absolutely not run without the headlight switch in the I or II position. If the wires are disconnected, you're probably not getting any spark. but If Thorpe is going to come over, he'll get you going.

Let us know how it goes.
