i bought a 84-85 tecate bottom end from ebay.... saw a 'pic' of it... the view of the pic looked good, just the bottom end, all i needed was the block...
description said perfect bottom end...

first... the shifter is welded on
second.. the sprocket it welded
third.. one of the cases are cracked
fourth....the front of the block...where the front motor mount is dissappeared.... completely gone...

i'm not complaining... i'm just saying ask ALOT of questions before buying...
it was only 60 bucks, but its the principle...i'm not worried about the welded parts.. or anything

all i needed was the main cases (the block) , because mine has a hole the size of a 50cent piece in it...

there's a few parts i can use off of it, and save for extra, the transmission and all...so thats why i'm not complaining...

This is my MAJOR gripe with Ebay-no way to know what you are getting until you get it. The honor system works only with honorable people. Besides, since everyone seems to think they can get a bundle of cash for their junk on Ebay, the swap meets are either getting thin or overpriced.

(Insert derogatory word of your choice) Ebay!
