CR/ATC 250R cylinder base gasket ?

I need to know if the 83-84 CR 250R cyl. base gasket is the same as the 85-86 ATC 250R (& TRX 250R). ......please- is this correct?-if not -which is the same?

What BKM means is, go to one of the parts supplier's websites, look up the part #s for the desired parts, and compare them.

I went to Service Honda's website, and did it for you:
Based on the parts fiche, the 1984 CR250R base gasket is totally different looking than the 85-86 ATC gasket
The 1983 CR250R base gasket looks pretty close: 12191-KA4-306
1986 ATC250R base gasket: 12191-HA2-306

The only differences in the part #s is are the 3 middle digits, which I believe, indicate the bike they are designed for. Since the rest of the digits are the same, does that mean the part is essentially the same? I don't know. You'll have to figure that one out on your own.

Well-I was trying to get the gasket listed on EBAY at the best price and since the 1st series of digits was the same I figured it would work. And it looked the same too. It was listed actually as 81-83 CR 250R but the 12191 part is the same. Might have been listed as wrong year? I was just trying to get a better deal on the gasket -thats all. All I need is that gasket and dont want to get in a bidding war over it and pay $10 or more for the one.
