I put this issue in another post, but only as comment.
I just want to know if anyone else has had this issue. On foggy or rainy days my bike works great, but hot and sunny days, it runs 10 minutes then stalls. Ive gone through at least 5 or 6 plugs now. Ive cleaned carb, put engine/carb cleaner in fuel. Cleaned air filter, and repaired spark plug wire.
Plug is carbon covered after 5 minute or 5 hours ride, no fuel. Spark is there but its only a thin orange, shouldn't it be big blue? (as per other comment on 3ww)
Now I got a really good mechanic and he is saying its a ground issue. I do believe him and want to check all grounds.
Im just curious if anyone has had or heard of this type of thing.:wondering

yup, on my klt200. The issue i had was the coil not grounded well.

check the coil, pull it off, make sure the holes where it bolts on to are clean of rust, as well as the frame in the same spot. Coil is grounded by the bolts that hold it on.
