as you can imagine, worn out puresport bandits dont track to good in snow, since there was snow already in extreme western maryland,it wont be long before its in my area.thought about buying "realters",they look pretty aggressive, but i dont want anything hard as a rock[like the blackwaters i USED to have].i also have holeshots, thier not as bad as my baldies i have now,i guess no one makes a "soft" snow tire that wont bash the rear end bearings by the end of winter?........

Get Wooly Boogers, or GBC gators. I have the boogers on my 185s and Big Red and I go everwhere.

The stockers from a TRX250EX or TRX300EX both work VERY well in snow. They are 22' tall too.

I was checkin out the Maxxis Sure Traks today, man they look like they would do pretty good in snow, mud, and probly sand too. I have the Maxxis All Traks and Im pretty happy with them, dunno how they would do in snow since we dont have that here in southern California, but they'd probly be better than stock tires at least.

I have a set of SurTraks I use on my 200X and 250R for the mud. They get good traction in the mud so I would guess they would also get good traction in the snow.

All Traks, SureTraks, Spiders all make good snow tires. Just avoid dune type paddle tires, and Realators. While they can get you moving in the snow, you cant drive a straight line with them. Stick with mud style tires with plenty of sideways traction.

That is my tire of choice for year around riding. ;)

Spidertracks are the tire you probably should get. They go anywhere, anytime, and still hook up good. Sand, snow, mud, water, hardpack, clay, whatever...

I run realtors on my atc250r. They suck. Overpriced. Unpredictable. No sidebite to speak of. That being said, they have never left me stuck on anything except slickrock.

Spiders aren't the softest tire but they are not a hard tire either.
