350x rims

have stock rims on my machine right now but would like to get a set of aftermarkets for it.the itp ss rims seem like they would look good on it.i will have all black plastics when i am done so not sure if i should get all black rims or black with some chrome.would i have to get special hubs or are there some aftermarket rims that will fit my stock hubs ?

The 350x uses the common Honda 4/110 bolt pattern. All the newer 250r, 450r, 400ex wheels will work. Your options are pretty much endless with all those choices.

The 350X's are a 4/110 with a 3/6 offset. I believe the offset on the newer ones mentioned above are 3/5 so you would lose a little width across your rear but there are some choices for the 3/6 offset just don't know if you could find what your looking for. If your upgrading your axle or using spacers the width wouldn't be an issue and as mentioned above there are a LOT of options!

looked on motosport.com and put in 1986 350x and these rims were shown.ITP SS112 SPORT REAR WHEEL - 10X8 3+5 BLACK.also comes in a 9x8

i have an aftermarket extended axle not sure how much or what kind.looks to be about 3 or 4 inches longer than the other axle i have.

Check with bike bandit too. Between them and RM ATV they have good prices and I know they exist unlike some of the places that come up when you do a search.

10's look meaner if you don't mind the stiffer ride. 9's = better ride,more tire choices.

yeah probly go with 10's.i will ride it but its more of a lets make it custom and keep it nice project.i did notice there are not as many choices as far as the kind of tire i want.have a swamp fox on the front but can't seem to find rears in 10x8.might have to get a set of mudlites.would rather have something with less mud tread but not sure how they would match up with the swamp fox.

Where are you getting the black plastics (Maier?) and how are you doing a black headlight housing? Paint?

not sure about the headlight housing.tried to get some info from a couple guys i saw with the black on their machines but never got anywhere.i guess some guy was custom making them himself but i can not find whoever it is.i would certainly buy one if i could find one.i tried painting my hand guards with black fusion paint but it comes right off.

Use an adhesion promoter like Bulldog http://www.wmbarr.com/product.aspx?catid=1&prodid=56 and you will get alot farther with rattle can...

Any chance your thinking of selling your rear 350X wheels?

I signed up and PM'ed him thru the Austrailian atv website where he is a Mod. Maybe I'll get something from that. I'll let you know.

Just got this reply at the Aussie ATV site where aussieduner is a mod:


He doesn't visit here much at the moment as he is busy with his tribute band I will send him a message elsewhere and get him to check on here.

Maybe one of us will get a reply from aussieduner yet ;) I'd really like to get my hands on one or more of those black headlight housings.
