Has anyone ever tried straightening the front suspension tubes? Did it work? I have a pair that are not bent badly, but if I can straighten them and have them work well, It will be worth it. I figured I could use a vise to straighten them.

They will straighten just fine. Dirtcrasher on here does them. He's a pro. He's not too hard to find.

i have done a bunch also. do not even try it in a vise. you will need a press. I made wood blocks that fit around the tubes to support it and then use a 1 inch piece of hard wood to push on so you do not damage the tube. i have done some all together with the springs and oil out and have done them with the tube removed. It is not hard just takes some time.

Shop presses are sweet. I just used mine the other night to install bear bearings into the hub on my 110. Definately better than beating them in

Check them with an indicator and make sure your within under .010 or the seals will leak after the bushings wear out.
