modding a 200s

i have a 200s that i want to do some modding to but i cant really find any after market stuff, all i really want is a pipe, air filter, maybe a cam, and maybe one of those suspension kits. and i would like to see some pictures of any 200's that you guys have built up

powroll,webcam,megacam,wiseco all make good performance parts for the honda 200s.what alot of ppl do and its a little cheaper is they use the complete top end from an xr200,this will give you a higher compression,bigger carb and better cam.

This is what I have come up with from my research to upgrade my 200S:

Camshaft Part# 14101-437-000-----MSRP---$70.13------Status: Discontinued at one point but currently available in limited Qty as of 12/04
This camshaft is used exclusively in the dual sport bikes and has a higher lift and duration than the XR version camshafts.
1979-1984 XL 125S
1979-1983 XL 185S
1983-1984 XL 200R

The XL camshaft is not a racing camshaft, but does offer more than the stock cam and at a much more affordable price......and do not require heavy duty valve springs.


I will be running a mid 80's XR 200 carb. I mated the carb up to the intake and blended them together, same with the intake manifold and head.
If you do the blending, do the modding on the cheap parts. It's cheaper to get an intake manifold than a head or carb if you screw up.
