Have a 200X on CL.

Frank Smith replies to ad. Then Charles Gardner contacts me with this reply:

I really appreciate your response to my email . I want you to consider it sold, pls do withdraw the advert from craigslist to avoid disturbance .I want you to know that i will be paying you an overpayment via bank certified check . The remaining will be for the shipping of the item which my shipper will use to come for the pick up at your location. I will like you to provide me with the following. information to facilitate the mailing of the check to you

1. Full name to write on the check
2. Full Physical address to post the check 3. City, State and Zip Code 4. Home & Cell Phone to contact you

Note that the payment will be shipped to your address via NEXT DAY SERVICE and I will like you to know that you will not be responsible for shipping i will have my mover come over as soon as you have cashed the check.
Thanks, Hope to hear from you soon.

I reply: with some questions like are you a member of any ATV forums and what's the ultimate destination.

Then he sends me nearly the same reply again.

There was a funny as hell website where people that got caught up in one of these Nigerian scams would jack around with 'em. Make them draw up and take pics of themselves holding signs that say "I love XXX" with the name of the guy supposedly getting scammed. Funny as hell. They start posts on each scammer they mess with. One guy was selling a macbook and a guy from Europe made the deal and the guy sent the scammer a box with a couple of bricks in it overseas..

haha found it:

I had some girl try and scam me about 2 weeks ago. I saw a polaris 4X4 for a good price and said she was selling it cheap to make a house payment cause she was left the house in a divorce and couldn't afford it. She sent me a request pay thru paypal to Great Britain.
I called paypal to verfy the transaction and it didn't exist, then she tried to get me to send a money order. I looked for the ad back on CL and it was removed. Then I looked up her name on the internet and her name came up as a scammer. Go see what you are buying and double check everything before you buy.

I got the same reply about a Craftsman mower I was selling on Craigslist. I told him to call me and we would discuss the details and he replied that he was hearing impared. I more or less told him to go trailpro himself.
