Do you mean that they are discontinued?

If so, there may be other aftermarket boots, but I find "BTpage" to have nice quality replacement boots on EBAY; Any color is available too.......... They look superior to the Daystar model boots (which have less ribs and the ribs are large). I don't like the large thick ribs of the Daystars myself......

If OEM boots are available and are quite a bit shorter, you may want to ask around a bit even if they are no longer made. One of our members "Vintagemotorsports" (Mike) knows whats available/costs, etc etc if you must find OEM ones. You may not like the cost if they are DC'd though............

Just call your dealer and see if they are discontinued or not, then weigh your options.

I love the 225DX, it ranks right up there with a Honda 250SX. And I think Yamaha makes a great 4 stroke engine! :beer
