Let's say some shlub gets this Honda ATC for free.

http://i76.photobucket.com/albums/j11/dondelusion/HONDAATC.jpg

(Previously owned by a Montreal Expos fan apparently)

The frame VIN (TBO1-2000246) indicates a '80 ATC185.
The engine VIN (TB05E-2413921) indicates a '83 ATC200
The carb is a Keihin PD85C which Clymer says is a '84 ATC200S application

What would the aforementioned schlub say if he was asked, "What 3-wheeler do you own?":wondering

regular 185 or regular 200. You can tell by the rear 2-piece fenders with the trunk. Is that a plastic tank?

Could it just be an '80 ATC185 with a 200 put on it? (The airbox is a 185)

I particularly like the Harbor Freight headlight affixed to the front fender.

I'll take a pic for ya. I appreciate the help, dudes.

FYI-There was a small critter living in the airbox.

check the back of the cylinder, let us know if it says 192cm, as I said it looks like an early 80's 200, just like my wife's

See if you can find a VIN on the neck. It may have been spray painted over and unreadable

That serial number is for a 84 200s.

Are you sure? I got my info from here-->> http://www.atcheaven.com/Model_ids_hon.php?pageNum_Mod=3&totalRows_Mod=330

Scroll down to ATC 200 D

This trike made the rounds in central PA, specifically the Claysburg environs. Guy actually used it as his 'car', for groceries and such. My neighbor, who gave it to me, is that guy's cousin. He owns a cabin near Blue Knob Ski Resort. The place has miles and miles of logging trails ups and down the mountain. Too cool.

I'm rebuilding the recoil and the carb. And replacing various other doo-dads. Just waiting on parts. Come on USPS!

Edit: Link fixed

Well ain't that a kick in the pants. Thanks brother. (Today's learned lesson: Never second guess MonroeMike.)

So do think it's safe to conclude, due to the fact that I have the 2 piece rear fender and no suspension, that the original engine was switched out? Also, does this mean I have a reverse gear?

No reverse gear on the 200s motor. Those Appear to be 185 plastics.
