Just wondering if this a 1986 vs an 85 350X motor? Tried to call for the engine number but no answer. I thought I seen one of these before out there, was it the same seller? Anyone know what the Buy it Now was before it took a bid?

This is true, hope a member gets it that needs it. I am thinking about it but wanted to know if it was a 86 for sure, the seller hasn't answered me yet and I won't bid blind. The clutch lever is in the 86 position but that isn't enough to convince me! I'm sure most serious buyers here are watching it anyway but you are right, I have seen people post a question with the listing then lose the sale!!!

I heard once before that some Honda Dealers pulled their motors when the 3 wheeler production stopped. I am pretty sure I have seen one before, did anyone catch the Buy it Now price???

That was a super deal. I'll have way more than that redoing my old motor. With carb and decent covers, never started, that was a steal. I wish I would have gone that way.

I was tempted but couldn't get hold of the seller before it ended, my fault, I didn't see it until today a few hours before it ended.

Should have bid 1000$, well worth it!!
That was a nice one, very little scratching and a carb ta boot!
I bet we'll see these for years to come and the economy isn't getting better so you may have a few more chances.
I wouldn't sell mine for 2000$............ I should have bought this one, whats wrong with you guys! A good head/cylinder and valve cover are 500$ alone!!
This is why people are tearing them down and parting them. I snagged an OEM oil pump for 30$ a couple months back; It will go in my 86 that I've been beating on for 7 years...... You know, the one I drowned

None, like Twitch said but it could have been had with an 800$ bid. People pay 150$ for an OEM NOS carb as it is; I should have just bought the dam thing! Kickin myself now :/ :( Not that I have the $$ but I always by NOS OEM parts I know I can sell; But, I would have kept that motor. I'm down to 1 and 1/2 crate motors now........

No, They had a "Buy it Now". When I found it there was only one bid and eBay said the Buy it Now option was over as it took a bid. If you look on the bidders you'll see where it says, "reserve met". I believe he had a 600.00 reserve but a higher Buy it Now, I missed the Buy it Now amount.

I don't know. He started it at 495.00 and 3***5 hit it at the 495.00 the reserve wasn't met he hit again at 629.00 the same day, hit again a few days later, no one bid against him until June 3rd when I first saw it. I might have read the Bid History wrong when I found it on the last day but thought it said "Buy it Now" option was no longer available, could have been another auction I was thinking of as I looked at every 350X machine and part out there that day!!! LOL
