I went down to az last night and found a 1975 r5 three wheeler. I will get pics up some how you have to see this thing. 2 carbs same with the exaust duel pipes. It looks like a banshee from before they were even thought of, only three wheels. It's home made but very well done. It's a hard tail, looks like an old triz. Pics soon.

Pictures don't work. Hit go Advanced, and click on the paper-clip icon. Then add files on the top right. You should get her figured out from there.

Link them with Photobucket............

You've got the JPG location, your not uploading it to 3WW somehow regardless of whether it's a Mac or other pc.

Okay, holmes. Here are detailed instructions on how to post pics:

1. Go to -->http://photobucket.com

2. Sign up and log in.

3. Hit the green 'Upload now' button. Then hit the green 'Select Photos and Videos' button.

4. Browse you computer for your pics. Click on one you want to use and hit the 'Open' button, thus sending your pic to photobucket. (You can upload more than one at a time by holding down the Ctrl. key.)

5. Once uploaded, park your mouse over the pic. A drop down menu will appear listing 4 different links to your pic. Click on the 'Direct Link'. It will automatically copy the link. (If it doesn't, manually copy that bastage.)

6. Come back here to your thread and hit reply. Above the text field are several icons, click on the 'Insert Image' icon. (The greenish one with the wee tree on it.)

7. A box will pop up that says 'Please enter the URL of your image:' Paste the link you copied over at photobucket in the field provided.

8. Hit 'Submit Reply' and reap the awards.

Good luck, brother.

They made hardtail frames to fit the yamaha r5 engine as well as the h1 500 kawi and the h2 750 kawi as well and a bunch of other engines. The frame you found may not be home made at all. One of the big makers was Hi Performance ATC. I have one of their later suspension frames that will fit the r5/rd350/rd400 engines.

It's craaaaazy fast. The guy told me it was an r5 motor bike convert. I will get some better fram pics and you tell me if it's homemade. The guy was trying to make a three wheel banshee .it's a hard tail but he left the shock mounts so I may be able to cut the pipe he put initial and make it a soft tail.

interesting bike! And really 2 stroke? Those pipes have funny looking expansion chambers then.

After you get suspension, you need a couple of pipes, them things are really holding that motor back. I bet it rips, but it could rip a lot harder with a better set of pipes.

Wow. That thing is SICK!

justin4
06-09-2011, 12:48 PM
Those pipes make it sound like a porch . It's very fast now but there is a guy that makes drag pipes here but it goes fast enough for me now. I need suspension before I add Moore speed. I am going to sell it though. Watch the classified adds if you would like to have it.
