i was riding today and i got out onto the roadway 1st gear fine 2nd gear fine 3rd gear not so much it, slipped for 2-4 seconds then decided to grab and the same with the 4th gear. i got out of it and sctatched my head lit a smoke and thought wtf....

so is it the clutch slipping, pressure plates or the centrif.not grabbing right,
or the trans may be going? if possible.

any thoughts, coments suggestions would be appreciated

Sounds like its time for clutch plates . You didn't put synthetic oil in it did you ?

NO on the synthetic oil, but for sake of arguement and stupidity. what harm would syn, oil do?

It will make the clutch slip , synthetic oils arn't designed for wet clutch set ups . I would try changing the oil first and see if that helps .

Barnett are good but the ebc are just ok IMO . I would take 30.00 shipped for the kit .
