Well took her all apart over the winter and this is where I'm at. Went out Sat in northern WI seen a 87 250sx and a 85 or 86 R sitting in a yard parked down by the pipe line in suring area. Fun day 120 miles. First I rebuilt both forks with new progressive springs and honda seals, wipers and wipers they leaked all over in the first 20 miles then at the end of the day it got up to 210 deg and now runs hot just idling IDK whats wrong Im gona pull off the stator cover tonite. The motor is all original and I've been waiting for 2 months for ESR to send my new crank and 330 thats always gonna be done tomarrow so I didnt get my new motor done to use.:mad: First I stripped it all down blasted it all and had Le Dioyt Body Works in berlin WI, K-10 for the powder on the swing arm Ecklund Motorsports in Oshkosh for alot of the OEM parts, ESR, Janssens Motor sports in Kaukana WI for the motor work when ESR sends me my parts and Ninja for the rear shock rebuild. OH and RMATV and ebay for almost everything else. Alot left to do I'm gona put on some new Maier front and rear fenders the OEM are to good to be using, Its gona get the Jason hall invert kit in the front , a 10" front wheel and aluminum colored rims all the way around. Last a Janssens Outlaw +2 swing arm. I have Rath racing 450R heel guards to finish fabing up yet. Its gona have a 330 pv with a 89 crank, ESR pipe and a custom 5 1/2" dia silencer Im working on for the pesky wardens. Put on a +4 RPM dominator axle and had most everything plated with zinc that was when new by custom chrome plating specialists in Brillion WI. This this rides awsome even with the oil all out of the forks and just the new springs. Pic out side without the hand guard is from a year ago.

Looking good! When you get that big bore installed you'll need a bigger rack to carry even more gas, it will be thirsty then. How were the trails? Did they dry up a little?

The north end of the pipe line was atleast 3' deep with water lucky the same 2 wardens that gave me a ticket for a FMF exhaust last year were there and said how to get around to a different access point. They just comented on how my registration stickers were not suppose to be on the forks. I cant believe how loud the sport 4 strokes are and they didnt do anything! except the last one to come thru the water, they stopped him. The rest of the trails thru Townsend and langlade down thru breed were all fine. I get like 25-30 mpg with it now IDK with the big Bore its gona be pump gas. First I have to finish up a muffler. IDK yet about just getting a Cascade Innovation 4 1/4 dia x 14" or doing up one my self 5- 5 1/2 and 20" long for sound.
