Wondering if anybody knows if a 85 200x front fender will fit on a 85 250sx without any mods. My fender on my 250sx was trashed when I got it and the mudflap was melted really bad. I was just going to buy a new maier but it doesn't look like it comes with a mudflap and it could possibly melt again even if I did find a decent used one. So I was looking at the 200x ones and they don't have a mudflap and the bolt holes look very similar so I thought it might work. Any input would be appreciated.

I don't think the 200X fenders r wide enough to match up with the holes on the bottom triple tree of the SX. Not 100% sure though.
I can't answer your question but i have a red maier sx front fender new in the bag. If you decide to stay with the sx fender pm and i'll send you some pics of it. I bought it for mine but i trashed the rear dif so i sold it for parts.

The 200x fender will not fit the stock 250sx forks... The mounting holes are different, much wider on the 250sx.. The only way you can make it work is to swap the whole 200x front end, which is pretty easy to do, requires cutting the old steering stops off and welding new ones other than that it is a bolt on modification... You will gain about an inch and a half of suspension travel, better stopping hydraulic disk brake, and a narrower better handling front tire... I recommend anyone to do this it is the best modification you can do to your 250sx...... If you do the swap you can mount a 85-86 250r front fender on your new 200x front end they mount the same
