What would be a good piston and cam for a little upgraded performance out of a 86 200x?I don't want a piston that race gas is needed.Just looking for upgrade nothing radical.

Wiseco,cut, Web cam. They'll grind you pretty much what you want. I was getting cams for a very good price,but I believe those days are gone.

Any way you slice it your looking at 600$ for a whole top end rebuild/cam/springs etc etc. Worth it if you have the dough but otherwise some people are not aware of the costs...........

Money wasn't the issue,just looking for what to buy.Was a little surprised at the cost for cams.Other thing that surprised me was bascially a weld and regrind to your stock cam.Only ones I looked at was Web,Megacycle so far.

Not my game anymore,but I think they are about the only ones in the game anymore,,I Believe they make all of Powrolls stuff,,Mickey could give some real quick,perfect advice here though! I would surely contact him! THE coolest pic in ANY magazine EVER. Was Mickey piloting an 86 thru the Oregon sky ,,after 3 wheelers were dying,,he got the 86 head figured out! 3&4 Wheel Action,or Dirt Wheels,I can't remember! If anyone knows the pic I mean,or has it,post that badboy up! It was basically an article moreless saying,,too little too late. that Powroll had got the 86 figured out,and the 200 class was going away. Up till then,everyone had gone back to the 85's,cuz we knew how to make them fly.

x2 i redid my top end not to long ago. cam, rockers,chain,s(oil pump and cam) and stock piston just re-ringed and it was more or less $100 short from the 600 mark. and thats getting good prices.

On one of the twin cities MN craigslist right now there is a new in the box White brothers mid range cam for the 86-87 200 x. the guy only wants $100 obo.
