One of my 200es manual clutch has been slipping, all the components are still within the service manuals service limits however. The centrifugal clutch however is stuffed.
Some years ago I had a clutch slip on my Suzuki DR 600 scrambler, the clutch specs were also still within spec.
I was told by a bike guru that the clutch plates get glazed from the oil and old age.
So I changed the plates and my clutch slip was gone.
Has anyone else had a similar experince?

Yes, you can breath (lots of) new life into them by ruffing them up slightly (as in do not get carried away).
I use the concrete garage floor but others have used sand paper and various other ways to ruff them up.
Just make sure too keep them laying flat while doing the work.
