YTM200E driveshaft oil seperate from engine oil?

I had to replace the output gears on the tranny and was wondering if those gears are oiled by the crankcase oil or not? I am wondering because there is an allen head on the gear cover that goes to nothing making me think its a fill plug. Thanks for any help.

Its not seperate. there is oil supply and drain to the side gear and front shaft bearings.
