I know the front suspension needs some work to make it fit.

Does the rear swinger bolt in? I would assume it would....

Is there any benefit to a 250R swinger other than the linkage?

R swing arm bolt in to an X? I don't think so.

care to learn me on the differences?

machining/welding/fabrication is no issue for me. I have the resources to do so.

If you have all the means to do so, then start doing so and show us how it turns out.

damnit.

I found a 250 swinger for dirt cheap, and was wondering the advantages, if any exist, over the 350.

If there are none, it would be a fruitless project. If there are any, then it would be worthwile (at least in my mind) to do it.

I'm more or less looking for input from 250 people as to benefits from the 250 suspension vs the (not so extravagant) 350x suspension/swinger.

If you want to play around with fabrication, take a look at this- http://www.3wheelerworld.com/showthread.php?120180-MY-BUILD-450R-swinger-on-a-350X-and-a-250R-frontend-too......IT-RUNS!!!!

How many of these mods on here have you found? None that I know of. So usually that means that it's generally too much fab work to be worthwhile. Most people would just go get a better shock and maybe a new fab swingarm as well. Hopefully you read DirtCrashers thread on what he had to do to install a 450r swinger and 250r front end to give you an idea of how much it takes to do alot of these mods. His main objective was try to make his trike to take more modern parts, swinger anyways, so he'll have more readily available parts in the future. Why don't you fab a new frame that takes modern parts instead of trying to adopt older less available parts?
