i think my headlight isn't working because the rectifier isn't hooked up to anything. the end of the rectifier's wire has a 4 pronged terminal deal (if that makes sense), what does this hook up to?

go easy on me if i'm not making much sense, i'll try to explain a little better if needed

It hooks up to another four pronged terminal. Those wires lead to the Alternator, Ignition Switch and Ground.

thanks for the shop manual. the rectifier was hooked to some kind of four pronged 12v fuse? not sure what that was doing there but i hooked the rectifier up to the four pronged terminal that is spliced into the wiring harness. headlight still doesn't work, do rectifiers go bad often on these bikes?
