1984 Honda 250r Maier light mount

I am thinking about buying one of the Maier light mounts for the 250r mine is a 1984 and i was wondering if it would also work

Yes, it should my buddy has 2nd gen forks on his 82 with that headlight

I have use the 250sx rubber strap to mount the shell on the fork
