Questions about switching carbs

So i have a 86 250r with a 89 TRX motor in it, The dude i bought it from put a round slide carb of an 85 r for some unknown reason:crazy: So my question is that if i put a keihin 38 or 39 mm PWK carb on, will it just go right on or am i going to have to modifiy or buy other parts to make it fit??:wondering

The most you'll need to due is jet it. If your looking at buying 1, get an Keihin air stryker. They are supposed to flow more than the pwk.
