my big red has no battery, but is there still a way to power the headlight while it's running?

The trike powers its own headlight while its running. It should work without the battery I'm pretty sure.

It will be very dim at idle, but should be fine riding. If it's not working at all,it has nothing to do w a battery.

mine's not working. both those small fuses under the seat was blown, which one goes to the headlight? i put a 250v fuse in each (much larger than the ones that were in there but that's all i had lying around) to test the headlight but the headlight still didnt work. the headlight switch underneath the kill switch is really loose, how do i check and make sure the actual switch isn't the problem?

edit: the bulb itself is still good so i'm pretty sure it's the wiring

250v is OK, but you want to use the proper current rating fuse to protect parts that are expensive to replace. 10A for the battery fuse and 5A for the other one.

You can download the Shop Manual here:

i just threw a 250v in there to see if that fuse was my headlight problem
