ok i regestered my 86 350x after a ticket from the DEC wasnt bad had to get the vin on the frame verified by my local honda dealer and even without a bill of sale it was cake.
So what bracket do you guys with registered hondas use to put your plate on your trikes?.
If someone makes a bracket shoot me a pm. i dont want to use Zip ties.

a real plate?
you mean like samped sheet metal with sharp edges?
Around here the dmv people are pretty specific about Where to put stickers and such.
Front right fork tube, right rear fender etc.

hey Don, All the plates here in PA are ziptied on. I know what you are looking for, but I have never seen one. Where would you mount it?

tim i think if i have to make one it will mount between the tail light bracket and the rubber mounts, it will hang down enough to be below the light.
kasuki give me a call i will help you get your toys registered.
funny thing is now that i have paper work my trike value went up!!!
Dr joe yep metal plate with sharp edges!!!!
also the insurance was $180 a year full coverage and they put a value of $2500 on the 350x with only a $100 deductable
Acid burn for $ 8 bucks i may get one just to see if it will work

I wish I had pics of the one I had made for my X... Just like you described Don, .080 aluminum, mounted from the tail light grommets... (damn it all, I need to take pictures of these things...)

acidburn i had to register and insure it just to be legal to ride the trails in new york state, recenly my group has been ticketed by a conservation officer for haveing unregistered and uninsured atv`s and atc`s on the trails.
no turn signals needed

acidburn, your in the same boat if your riding anywhere but your own property in Ontario. You need to provide ownership and proof of insurance for your machines.

I don't have any pictures of it, but I used the two bolts from the grab bar. It covers up the space between the aftermarket fenders and the grab bar, that way your not covering your tail light. I'll have to pull out the 350x from the back corner of the garage and take a picture of what I'm trying to explain, lol

I found this one, it's not the best, but it gives you an idea on how I mounted mine

Hey Don, that's how I did mine, and the first time it took a hard landing, it broke my tail light off... make sure the swinger doesn't line up with it!

well i took a gander at it today and i think i can fit it behind my hondaline 6-pack rack over the light. i did mount it below thelight and gave it a little angle so it would clear the swinger but i dont like how it looks.
only problem i see is i will have to reach behind the plate for the seat latch no big deal.
saturday i am heading back to our favorite trails to ride 100% legal i know when we come out he will be there waiting i will have to show hin my new shiney plate and insurance card.

acid i only got $180 dollar fine and it was enough for me to register my trail machines. maybe you did a little to much windowpane (acidburn) to figure out you cant outrun them anymore.
