My seat is dry and cracking all to pieces. This trike set up for years and the seat wasn't bad when I got it. Now with me riding it all the time it is cracking more everyday. Do the $35 seat covers work or are they just a temp fix. Do you take it to an upolstry shop and have them re do it? What is the best fix besides finding a brand new seat?

Do it yourself. Go to a fabric store and buy some seat cover material. I think I bought some kind of leather, I don’t remember. Then just staple the material to the seat. It’s pretty simple. I have done it to a few of my ATV seats.

If you don't do it yourself, send it to the Mosh's. That is their specialty, and from what I've seen on here, they do great work.

If you choose to do it yourself, search for the tutorial done by Mosh. It's what I used to get me started when I didI did my 200s myself, and the hardest part is the rear corners. It's very difficult to get the wrinkles out without smashing the back of the foam. So instead of smashing the foam and having it look rounded at the back, I left the wrinkles in. It looks good if you don't look too closely at those back corners. My 250SX, which is my main ride, needs to look better than that, so it's going to Mosh's sometime this week. They do awesome work.

If it doesnt need to be perfect try it yourself, if its for a nice machine have someone who has done one before do it.

Check out the seat covers on ebay.

These covers are great and easy to install yourself, if you’re handy. This guy put my nickname on the seat cover for only an additional $10! He is very responsive to emails.

Thanks.... I may give the do it yourself a try. I am pretty good with stuff like that.
