So I finally got to take my X out and stretch her legs...went home to VA this past weekend. My brother and I went on a nice long ride...about 2 hours (here's some pics of the ride). So on the way home he suggested we take road home, instead of the trail...he wanted to see how the X did against his 84R. It's about a 5 mile trip, and about halfway home I looked back (yeah, he was behind me) and saw him pulled over on the side of the road...that last 2 pics are what went wrong. Wow great pics, i guess the ol' 87 X runs good!! lol i guess its because you have a 6th gear, it would be a different story if brother rode an 85-86 250r.. Sucks he blew the top end but at least it is a 2stroke so a rebuild will be less expensive(i guess he has an advantage over you when it comes to rebuilds..LoL)... great story man thanks for sharing

Oh yeah BTW i love how you made your graffics similar to the 87 200x, that is sweet!! you even put white scoops on it. Out of all the trikes ive seen over the years that is a very original idea Honda should have made them like that.

Yeah I know...he would've been faster if he had a water-pumper...actually they're pretty much dead even at top speed (my brothers and mine)...but that low end from X gets it up there a little quicker (he's also running a 14th tooth front sprocket). ATC...thanks for compliments...this was just what I thought the 87 350x would've looked like had Honda never ended production..my wife will tell you I spent too much getting the decals made, but I think it's worth it, something a little different.

You'll be happy to know that my brothers R is well on it's way to a proper rebuild. Piston and jug are down at the shop as we speak, so it should be ready for Trikefest no problem!!
