Idle speed screw?

Hey guys. I have an 85 Honda 200s. It wont idle after I drive it a bit. And I think its the idle speed. Do you know where the screw is? I dont even now where the carb is xD

So you're saying it does idle when it's cold? When you say "I don't even know where the carb is", one wonders where to start giving advice, but I assume you were being funny. If you get that manual downloaded, it should have a view of the carb that shows the idle screw. Turning it up might help, but you might also be masking another problem.

Yeah I know where the carb is lol xD Actually it needs to be cleaned. The overflow started flowing gas, so where could I get step by step intructions on how to put it back in?

I would start with the basics, (carb clean). However what your describing, sounds to me like a tight valve. I say this because you stated it idles fine when cold,which tells me its unlikely that your pilot circuit is plugged.( indicating a properly functioning carb)

Tight valve....hmmm. So you're saying when it warms up, the valve opens a bit? Never thought of that. My KLT110 has always had exactly this same problem, but after cleaning, adjusting, and then replacing the carb with a cheap Chinese knockoff and then finally finding a rebuild kit for the original, my hot idle problem finally seems to have gone away.

Well how do I fix that?

That manual you downloaded (you DID download it, didn't you?) should have information about how to adjust the valves, but it's pretty straightforward. You just need a feeler gauge with an .004 leaf on it. Worth a try, anyway, and doesn't cost anything. Do that before taking the carb apart.
