TRX200 Fenders on Big Red?

It looks as though a set of '84/'85 TRX200 rear fenders will fit on my 200ES Big Red. I don't mind to do a little fitting work as long as they have the possibility to fit. Anything's better than my current thrashed set! :lol:
Does anyone out there have a set they might let go so I can try it or know where I can find some?

84' TRX200X???????? quads werent released until late 86, Honda did make a trx200x, it was based on a 250x-300ex chassis/fenders with an 86-87 atc200x engine, except to my knowledge they were never released in america. I have only seen one pic of one and it was owned by in argentina, They are super rare especially in this country.... post the pics or i call it BS

Sorry i cant answer your question about fitting other fenders... LOL i just want to know if "Trx200x" was a typo, or not.


(UPDATED) I did more research and found more pics.. apparently these quads used pretty much all of the left of parts from that 87' atc200x when they were banned, the tank and fenders are the same as the ATC. Honda just built a new frame, put 300ex front suspension on it, made a new front fender and then bolted all the atc200x parts on it and called it a fourtrax.... I wonder why they never released these in america?

In 84 Honda released their first quad, it was called the TRX 200. I'm not sure if the fenders will fit your Big Red. They are the 2 piece design though

Wow i never knew that... I thought the first quad was the 86' suzuki lt250r quadracer.... I remember suzuki's slogan used to be "First on four wheels" in various advertisments.... So i guess they were lying to us... hmmm.. LoL

I dont know what to beleive anymore... lol

It does seem kinda crazy that back then you could go into a dealer and buy a new trike or quad. They overlapped for about 3 years. It wasn't like trikes got banned and the oems were left scratching their heads on what to do next; quads were already well on their way to being the next big thing.

There it is! Sorry about that guys. I should've done a little more homework! I think they will fit...the rack looks close, and the seat latch is about the same...

Wasn't a typo at the time, but now it is! LOL I realized my mistake and fixed it. Thanks for the info guys!
