What do I clean them with? I can't imagine having them media blasted.

Also, has anyone gone so far as to powdercoat the little things (ie: under seat bracketry, etc.)?

If they're grungy/muddy/dirty, I'll clean them with Castrol Super Clean and stiff brush. Once they're "clean", I'll disassemble them and clean everything with brake cleaner. As far as the finish goes, I usually just use high-heat spray paint, as long as you don't spill a bunch of brake fluid on them they'll be fine.

I'm sure some of the full-blown restorations go the powdercoating route, and it's a good idea for parts that are going to see a lot of weather. Underseat brackets are usually some of the most well-preserved parts on an old 3 wheeler (at least the ones I've restored) - a good cleaning, maybe a little sanding, and a coat or two of quality spray paint makes them look like new.
