Here is a good price on a new plastic tank: HIGH QUALITY RED PLASTIC TANK (http://dratv.com/atc185182002.html)
Notice that you have to tap in the sides of your intake shroud, to bend them in to make the shroud narrower, to fit this tank. With that approach you might even be able to make a 200x tank fit.

do the plastic tanks have a vent like the oem metal ones?
edit: i bought the tank off ebay, 95 bucks shipped, new. should be a step up from the rusty pos that was on there

Every plastic tank that I have seen has a plastic cap with a fitting for a vent hose, MX style. The money spent on a plastic tank seems worth it to not have to worry about rust in the gas and leaks. You can also test the tank and petcock with water and then just dry it out carefully before adding gas. I use a leaf blower and then a little time in the sun for drying.

I just installed a plastic tank on a 200M and the tunnel on the tank was a little too narrow. I used a short handled sledge to tap the sides of the snorkle hood in a little bit. It was easy to do and still looks stock.
