I need to put the large rectangular black stickers on my 250R rear fender. There pretty big and I want to get them on the money. I forget but can't you mix up a solution of water and liquid dish soap (forgot how much) and be able to slide them around a bit until there right were you want them? Then the stuff just evaporates - I think! Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

That's how window tint is done but never heard of that method being used on pressure sensative stickers. I would think the water woould screw up the stickyness. :?:

When I numbered my snowsled I used soap and water and when I got it where I wanted it I used a flat object and ran it back and forth on the stickers while using a hair dryer and they dried and the back peeled right off.

Yup, use a little dish soap and water on the sticker, slide it in to exactly where you want it, then walk away for 20 minutes. Come back and give it a final smoothing out, and you should be good to go.

First off, I didn't want anyone to even know about it till I engraved and scribed the parts with my initials. Jorneyman had his 350X stolen a few miles from me so I wanted to do the best I could. And although it's got low hours it was missing almost all the plastic so I had to get new and used stiff, then there's mildew on the seat etc. etc And I was to cheap to buy better fork boots!! So it is not a "cosmetic winner" but I am so happy to have it and I think it will all work out fine. Soon as it's all they way I want it you'll see it ;) My hat is off to these guys that do it all and have a great looking finished product - it truly does cost a boatload of money to have the mechanical and cosmetic aspects combined.

Here's a preview - no closeups for now. As long as you promise not to make fun of her knockers, ok?
Wow looks good! Better then my Tri-Z ;)

Don't sell yourself short Goku, that Triz looks sweet and besides that it is quite the rare animal in comparisson to a 250R. We can't all have trikes with pretty little hoses and a nice rack if ya know what I mean!
