i regretfully sold my 125m 4 months ago and last week i bought it back so i could ride again.... i sold it to my cousin who just let it sit for the 4 months and when i first got it back it ran fine but this weekend i was riding and all of a sudden i had no throttle response and it died and wouldnt pull start.... it sat for about 5-10 minutes and then it started up again... it kept doing the same thing so my uncle iand i cleaned the carb and blew out the fuel lines.... well needless to say it died again but when it did die i heard the tank gurgle.... my uncle thinks the fuel cap may be the problem but we are not sure.... ne one have ne ideas.....
thanks

hey man
well make sure the breather hose that comes out the top of the gas cap isnt plugged and make sure the carb settings havent been tampered with and that the intake is sealed tight with the gaskets biting on both sides. Also make sure the floats and sticking causing it to flood out or cause them to stick shut causing it to stall but if that was the case it'd backfire aswell. Also clean the air breather. Good Luck

Make sure the tank is getting vented so the fuel doesn’t get locked in the tank. If u took the cap off and herd it gurgling it could have been the bowl filling with fuel when u took the cap off releasing the vacuum. I know that electrics on tractors like coils can make it quit running in till they cool off. But I think it sounds like the vent in the cap clogged up.

I would check the fuel cap. I had a Kawasaki 110 that had the on/off switch on the fuel cap rust out on the inside, luckly it was broken in the on position. That is one of the reasons that I use clear fuel line on my trikes. ;) Try rideing it until it shuts off then slowly unscrew the fuel cap and listen for a hissing. It does sound like you are running out of gas so also check the fuel filter. Gas can go bad fairly fast so it could be dirty.
