Well thanks to all the help i have had from you guys so far here is my 250sx. This is right after getting the 200x front end on. Probably going to go with a white maier front plastic. And red fork boot covers. Anyway what do you guys think?http://members.cox.net/dulacj/250sx.jpg

like those rear fenders, are they Maier? I didn't know they were set up to bolt on the original mud flaps. I thought they were molder in like the 350x fenders were.
Look real good, like the white tank too.

Thanks guys. Its an 86 I picked up in Canada when i was up there for Christmas Vacation. Needed some cosmetics. Motor seemed to run fine. Yes that is a maier back fender. I have back alum. rims that i'm waiting for my spacers. Also i still can't figure out why i'm getting a clunking noise on the left side. Probably has something to do with my starter not working. As posted before i already replaced my oneway clutch to see if this was the problem. My starter turns but seems like its just grinding the gears. Starts like a charm with the kicker though.

Are you in the U.S. now? How was it getting it over the border?

The 200x front makes a difference. I think the back wheel spacers are even going to add more stability. The big fat front wheel that it comes with kills the turning. Everytime i took a turn i had one wheel off the ground or if i when i was on the street one wheel would be chirping. Lot less of that now. Plus disc brakes are definite plus.
They didn't even ask about it when i crossed the border. I did have a bill of sale just in case. Plus the exchange rate was definitely in my favor last Christmas. Now how do I register it in CT or MA. Am i suppose to have a title? The owner did have it registered in Canada.
