Is the alt 185 rare? I can pick one up for $60 canadian.. Here is what the seller says about it:

I have a 1986? Suzuki 185 three wheeler that has seen better days. The motor runs but it should have a new carb, it sat for a long time and is very corroded around the main jet. I was going to use the wheels to make a trailer for a 4 wheeler (front tire is new, the rear hold air). The plastic is faded, cracked and the front fender is missing. The seat is torn, light is burnt out, but the rear brake works. This is not a pretty machine, but it is cheap.

what do you think :D

Jump on it! If you can't get it running, so what thats a collectable! They are rare, but not extremmly rare. If I was you I would buy it!!!

Not a bad deal. They are basically the same as all of the lt 185's except without a spare tire. All of rear plastics for lt 125 and lt 185 will also fit. And the alt 125 is the same minus top end, carb, and exhaust I think.

i have the same three wheeler and if you get it running right you will not be disappointed im running high aggressive rear tires and pretty thick oil due to the fact that the valve seals are out and ive ran it out of oil twice. and i got lucky. and i can still keep up with 4 wheel dive 4 wheelers. im planing on getting it rebuild this summer but its a beast even though its a 185
