I can get a rebuild kit for $32 for stock caliper. How are they to rebuild? Someone told me that they are a pain. Or I can get a cr80 caliper for $40 then no parking brake on it.

They aren't bad to rebuild as long as they come apart. But for the 32 bux you could have a new, lighter no parking brake CR front caliper on the 200x. I'm running a CR caliper and it's good to go.

I think the parking brake is great for transporting on the trailer. I'm not sure I want to get rid of it.

Getting the piston back in is not fun. You can pinch your new o rings.Surgical clean!! And LOTS of brake fluid! If you do it. Very doable, but tricky the 1st time.

The CR caliper is a nice replacement. I don't miss the parking brake.
