SX with big red rear rack

Has anyone on here put a big red rear rack on there SX if so link some pics so i can get an idea on how it was done.

anything is possible but it would be hard to modify the big red rear rack because it is a two piece rack. The center section raises up so that you can gain access to the storage box, which isnt similar to the 250sx box. I had a rear rack for a 95-04 yamaha wolverine laying around that I easily modified to fit my 85' 250sx. The rear mounts of the rack clamped around my grab bar perfectly. The front mounts had to be cut off and rewelded so they would line up with the rear grab bar mount bolts that go into the rear of the frame. Then i cut two 1 1/4" holes in the rear plastics for my new front rack mounts to slip through to mount to the frame. I love my rack it works awesome, the only downside is that you have to unbolt the rack in order to take the rear fenders off to gain access the the airbox.

well the thing is i want to make my SX look like a big red and i got the rack sitting in the back and just got a welder so i wanna make it fit the SX, kinda make it a sxred lol, but i see that the seat on the sx is alot longer then the big red seat and the rack sits WAY back on the bike i need for it to fit just right so i can order some new fenders from maier for a big red, also i wanna kinda lift the rack and seat about an inch so the tires dont hit the fenders like they do now.
