I just talked to HRE today about building me a 86 Tecate Swingarm +4 out of Chromley Steel. Says its going to run about $550. Anyone else interested? I need to get an 86 swingarm to him for measurements on the dogbone and some other parts. I dont have a 86 swingarm as my project trike didnt come with one. So if anyone knows where I can get one or if someone wants a custom swingarm I will be getting one made by the end of May.
Thanks

He already has done about a dozen Tecate swingarms using a 400ex rearend. That and there is tons of 400ex vs 450r (400ex had over 10 years of production over 450r). Just trying to keep it simple for him and cheap. But I dont see any reason why we couldn't have them built to 450r parts but lets see who all is interested.

He had it quoted about a hundred dollars cheaper. But I didnt need a +4 either. Apparently he already has a jig set up. He built one for BGM on here. It was pretty. I plan on getting one made for mine regardless of who is interested.

He said he did not make a jig for that one and he only had one for the 84-85 Tecate. But all he needs is placment of Dogbone. I also will be having one made no matter if no one is interested.
