picked up a trike today!

very exciting day for me today here. i picked up a good shape COMPLETE 85 200x all original. i have to say that out of the 5-6 trikes ive owned this is the most complete platform ive gotten. and best of all... everything works! right down to the parking brake! ...well minus the rear tail light but thats going to be deleted any way. thi is going to be my flat tracker ive wanted to build since i was a kid.

this is how i got her. little ruf but i think it will clean up real real nice. i got it for 450 bucks! i spent a little time with it tonight and throw on sum stuff i had from about 5 years ago on another 200x i had. the trike didnt really run good when i picked it up but had great compresion and did not smoke at all. i cleaned out the carb and the gas tank... the gas tank had straight rust and mud in that sucker!! changed the oil. looks like the oil hadnedt been changed in some time however there were now shavings or particals in it which is a good sign. I then through on a set of nice mair plastic i had with a 250r front fender and also a nice prm grab bar i has kicking around. this bike starts up first kick now and runs mint. no smoke at all an runs great. its got a small tick even after i adjusted the cam chain tensioner so ill adjust the valves tomorrow and see if that helps. this doesnt bother me at all since it will get a powroll stroker with race cam and high comp piston anyway. at least thats the plan for now. i have a grizz 660 that ill have as a back up so this is more of a project toy so it wont need to be totally "trailable" im selling some parts on this bike so check that out in the classifieds and im looking for a few parts also like a dg pipe/ 3 or 400 ex hubs and a number plate . pm me if you have any of those. well her she is agian at the end of the night... man i feels good to be back on three!

its got both skid plates lol very complete trike. and yes nick this one was from ontario from a cool dude name mark. also i looked at the one in williamson... id advise staying away from that one

i love this trike. 85 200x engine numbers checked with honda to be original all is there except exhaust cover orig. rear fender seat was there though. oh and no parking brakes which i would yank anyway. these are true gems. and are getting harder to find orignal these days...
