I went to change the pads today and the bolts going through the pads busted off about an inch for the head. How in the heck would you get them out? Probably have to drill it out. I looked on ebay and they are $65 and up for one. A rebuild kit is $32. Can one get just the bolts? Hopefully I can save the caliper.

ya the only way is to drill a small hole with a bit then use a easyout and be carefull. Or if you can kind of grab with a visegrip try that 2

I'd try the vice grips if they're not seized up and you can get a good grip. The bolts are available. Try EBAY. I know they come with a rebuild kit and they're fairly inexpensive because I bought one.

if you have enough stud left, you can also weld another bolt, washer,or nut.really anything you can grab to try and loosening it up

"an inch for the head" whats that mean??

The threads are in the front part, just behind the 12MM head. Some calipers have blind holes, others can be knocked out from the back; there are no threads at the back of the pad pin.........

It`s what I tell the ladies.......I got 5 inches plus "an inch for the head" which makes six!!! They don`t seem impressed though
