So, i bought this 125 a week or so ago.. for 275. Only ran with choke on, bit of valve knocking.. but.. MINT plastics. Which makes no sense. The owner said he bought it in 1990. He hadn't washed it in all those years, which actually saved the colour of the plastics.. Everything else on the bike is rusted all to hell. But, i pulled the tank, carb, replaced fuel lines, and she started right up and idled fine.. Here is some pics * Note. Pictures are with my other set of fenders, not the mint ones that came with the machine. Its been my goal to beat this 125 to hell, i do not do this to any of my bikes, except for this old beater with half the compression it should have. Notice the front tire that is not even seated on the bead. Ad the oil that came out of it after riding that deep...This trike will be only used for parts. I have tried to kill it, but it wont die, you know the saying.... YOU CANT KILL A HONDA!

Well when you get ready to part it out I'd like to have the keyed ignition with that rubber covered key.....

Can't a man have some fun with a parts machine?

Well, she died, after she sucked in a litre of water.... haha. Had to be towed back to my place and flushed out twice with oil.

not to hijack this thread or anything, but fill the spark plug cap with dielectric grease and make sure no water is getting in through the pullstart. usaully if you have the correct rope handle and it is push down against the housing it will seal.

looks like fun! My finished project 200s just went threw a water hole yesterday. The water was right over the seat like yours and all. I had it stuck in one spot over the seat for about 15mins and it never stalled out!! When i finally got to the other side of the water hole, i had to go threw it again :D since there was no other way around it. It never shut off threw all that crap! After all that i checked the oil- no water in it, checked the air filter it was SOAKED with water! Agreed you can't kill a HONDA!
