It runs well enough now that I was able to ride it in the driveway. The clutch slips bad. Is there any special tools needed to change the clutches? Where is a good place to get an affordable rebuild set?

yes, and yes. before you do that, did you adjust the cable to ensire it's not too tight and pulling the clutch when it should not be? (clutch adjustment). if you have then you will need a new clutch setup. can be found on ebay for a good deal. you will need a clutch removal tool, also can be found on ebay. (best to use a impact with tool to remove clutch)

I bought a Barnett dirt digger Kevlar clutch kit on ebay for $65. It comes with springs, metal plates, and the kevlar discs. I didnt think that was too bad of a deal. DO NOT BE FOOLED BY CHEAP PARTS. This is one place not to buy the cheapest parts you can get. Cause you will pay for it later.

I have the clutch removal tool for an atc 90/110. Is it the same tool? It has four protruding teeth with 1/2 drive.

The TOOL isn't needed if your simpley replacing the ware friction springs and steel plates. If your switching the HUB and Boss from the motor, then yes you need the tool.

^ yea i forgot you coudl do it w/o taking the basket off. I always by habig take it all off, clean and then reinstall fresh and clean, but it can be done down and dirty (track side style).

The previous owner had the cable bracket upside down. I corrected it and adjusted the cable and the clutch is working fine for now. I'm sure it will need disc's down the road.

Good, I am glad it was something cheap. No need to throw money at it if it dont need it. I wish I was as lucky as you. Mine wont do a wheelie even if you rev it to the moon and dump the clutch.
