thinking about getting 25" bearclaws for my 185s, i currently have 25x12x9 duros and they dont hit the rubber but i know some tire companys are not true to the actual tire size. there is still have a inch or half a inch room between the fenders

Did those tires slow down the 185? Thats a lot of tire for such a small motor. The bear claws are probably going to hit the fenders when they are new, the lugs on the bear claws are HUGE

yeah i know the lugs are huge i use to have it on my 200 and they pulled ass, i dont know the difference between the stock 22s that came on here and these 25s cause i bought it with 25s but let me tell you this thing can pull

i was also thinking of getting maxxis zillas cause there really light but its hard to find someone with another 185s that has actually tried it lol

i dont know the exact pressure, but i just filled them up to where there's still a bit of bounce in them

Holy over-inflation batman!

I guess you can't expect somebody who doesn't know how to check his oil to be able to figure out a tire pressure gauge.

yeah over inflation, thats what when i press down on them they go about 25% down.. stay off my posts u autistic spamming crack child

lol

I've never rode a trike with 25's...I bet it really floats and bounces down the road...like my old 79 caprice. Unfortunately there isn't as much room on a trike to get busy like there is in the ole heavy chevy :D

185s is geared for speed, those tires are very heavy & probably too tall (with the tall tread), youre motor is not powerful enough, & youre gonna toast youre clutches,- need more reasons?...seriously trying to help. Dont waste your money.

3wheelrider is right do u have the bike geared for mud or speed, if u have a small sprocket in the back with big tires trailprotrailpro gonna smoke your clutches fast, if your gonna be going thru mud i would drop a bigger sprocket in the back and a smaller one in front so u have more torque.

i believe the guy that had this wheeler geared it for bigger tires, but what are the stock back and front sprocket sizes? cause with 25's this thing goes faster then my buddys 200x with 22s

If i was to give u good info i would say go with some ITP mudlites there VERY VERY good for heavy/light mud and there SUPER light compared to the bear claws also the mudlites grip alot more and may be cheaper.

www.Mud-throwers.com
Have 25x12x9 mud lites for 93 bucks each and 25x12.5x9 bear claws for 80 bucks each BUT the mud lites are 19 pounds each and the bear claws are 28 pounds each, If u was to go with the near claws u will feel the bike die down when your in mud and u try to gas the bike out, with the mudlites your bike wont die down and u may be able to go a little bit taller if u like, so just remember not only to look at the size and price look at the weight also.
Also mud-throwers.com always has free shipping and they ship things VERY fast, i ordered an itp 10x8 front rim for my dads big red and i didnt pay anything for shipping and it got here 2 days after i ordered it.

Also forgot when u put air in big tires that the bike dont really have suspension in the back what u can do to check it is when u push the tire in on the back with your foot look and see if the tire gets about half way to about 60% into the rim that will be the best for a smooth ride AND good suspension while riding not a bouncy ride.

I'd recommend the interco swamp lites. I've got them one my 200x they are light weight not overly deep lugs and still hook up well on hard packed surfaces and loose or muddy surfaces

the thing with the swamp lites is the claws are to close together and when u go thru soft mud the tires will turn into slicks thats the reason i was saying about the mudlites the claws are spread far apart.
Also another thing with interco is thats the same company that makes the TSL mud truck tires and there known to have to hard of tires and they dont grip right with rocks and tree stucks in mud due to the fact that the claws dont flex enough to grab right.

What about tire expansion at higher speeds? I know they are nothing like my pro wedge, but they still expand, I'm sure of it. My pro wedge expand up to 40%. Thats a crap ton... They why everyone loves them to race with :)

thanks eddie, unfortunetly im canadian so shipping is never free :P very good point with the bearclaws weighing 28lbs i have heard nothing but bad reveiws for mudlites however on quads, so i think ill go with my second choice maxxis zillas they are also 19lbs
