225dx SHOCK HELP !

[1984 honda 200s]

im starting this project soon. i got a 225dx for parts, good set of front forks and what not. only thing is i cant find a front axle for it, so im thinkng to remove the shock bottoms on the dx and swap them for 200s bottoms. the dx front end will be going on my 200s runner.. i just cant seem to get them farts off tho, i turn the screw at the bottom but all it does is turn. :wondering

its the fork sliders im looking to replace on the dx with 200s sliders. i dont have a front axle for the dx and the honda front axle is not the same. so i would like to swap the sliders to run the honda front axle. make sence>?

Cant see them fitting. The Front ends are really 2 different types. Maybe off a 250 R or a 200x or 350x but not a 200s.

I personally think it would be easier for you to contact a machine shop there in canada and have them make you an axel than trying to attempt a fork swap with a set that will not fit as the sliders will be too short

oh okay, you think there to short then i wont attempt to swap them.. yeah shes for parts, preivious owner cut the frame in 3 spots to make a GO CART out of it LOL. its missing pull starter,driveshaft, front axle, swing arm bolts,..to much to list. lost interest when i saw the frame cut. if i could find a GOOD frame then id attepmt to make it a runner but thats gonna cost just a bit lol.

well if you are looking to sell a few things off it. Im' looking to buy need a CDI, or a Coil lmao donno witch one yet testing as we speak

it has everything but the coil for spark lol. i have a bunch from a Honda dont know if that would work? oh and ive never shipped/sold anything online before ! lmao
